#FUCancer

On the 8th April 2014 I woke up to live the day like any other. I was 27, working in a job I loved and surrounded by friends and family. By the time the sun came to set my life took an unexpected turn: I was diagnosed with cervical cancer.

This blog is a brutally honest insight to what life is like living with and beyond cancer. I share my experiences of the treatment itself in addition to the aftermath of remission. At times cancer has left me feeling alienated, angry and misunderstood. My aim is to maintain this blog so other people who find themselves in a similar situation know they are not alone.
